Aaron & Hilary - Blackberry Farm, Cupertino Wedding

If you have ever browsed Pinterest and loved it, then you would have wanted to be invited to Aaron & Hilary's wedding at Blackberry Farm in Cupertino, Ca. It was mason jar heaven. It was DIY perfection. It was a gorgeous day celebrated by friends and family who were happy to witness Aaron, Hilary, & Madelyn become a family.

On a side note, if you are wedding planning, I highly suggest hosting a hoola hoop contest. Just sayin'!

These two love birds said their "I do's" under enchanting oak trees with dangling paper lanterns above them. Their guests were invited to sip on champagne, craft beer, lemonade, & play card games at their tables while enjoying a special meal - hot off the grill.

I could gush about this wedding forever, but I'll let the pictures tell the story instead!

A Mother's Day Celebration

This was my second Mother's day where I got to be the center of attention, and boy, did Evan make it special.

We spent the afternoon picnicking under a giant redwood tree at Kelly Park in San Jose. Just the three of us, sprawled out on a yellow chevron picnic blanket that was lovingly made by my mom,  and a basket of delicious treats. Blowing bubbles, and nibbling on juicy strawberries. It was a slice of perfection.

 

Oh and those purple flowers? He ran off to go pick them so that our picnic would be complete with wild flowers. Have I mentioned that I'm a lucky girl? I'm one lucky girl.
