Spring Sessions!

Last week we had a couple of gorgeous warm days and it just screamed that Spring is right around the corner! I love Spring. To me, it means opening up the windows to let the cool breeze in. It means heading to the farmers market for fresh cut flowers. It means that my daffodils in my yard have started to sprout, and it makes me smile. :)

With the new season approaching, I've spent some time on one of my most favorite websites researching fashion trends for Spring. Wardrobe is a huge part of your photo session, and though it can be daunting to try and figure out which print works with which, it is well worth it in the long run! I admit, I am not a cutting edge fashionista, but I've managed to get a lot of inspiration from Pinterest. Check out some of these awesome ideas!

^ I love the simplicity of just three colors here. It follows my mantra of the 2 color pop rule. Also, who would have though sea foam green and coral would look so great together?

^ If you can get your husband to wear pink or purple... DO IT! It looks so fantastic. Honestly. I had an engagement session recently where the groom-to-be donned a purple shirt and a grey cardigan sweater. It looked so handsome! (Note, the two color pop rule again here!)

^ Because you can never go wrong with blue jeans and a cardigan. Ideas for husbands would be a grey or white sweater/button up with blue jeans.

^ Flowy shirts are super feminine and super pretty. Dress them up with some pretty accessories.

^ Who doesn't love polka dots? Just remember when sporting awesome patterns, keep the rest simple!
